La famosa Elle King lanzó el segundo visual de su segundo álbum, Shake the Spirit con el tema » Good Thing Gone» es una inmersión lenta en la angustia de King, espoleado por un amor que se dirige rápidamente hacia el sur, aunque bajo la mirada, King se abrió paso, su voz vibraba en medio de la energía constante de su banda, The Brethren.
El tema toma prestado de viejas grabaciones hechas en estudios soul como Stax y Muscle Shoals, por otro lado, el baterista toca un ritmo de rock estable de 6/8, mientras que el guitarrista agrega licks cortos y sencillos. King sigue los versos desnudos con un estribillo ocupado.
El single cuenta con más de 67 mil reproducciones.
